Our Classes

The Studio at Brooklyn Mercantile offers classes for students of all ages and abilities, in basic sewing, advanced sewing, quilt-making, coptic-stitch book binding, photo-transfer projects and more.  Each class is led by a local expert teacher, and all are kept small to ensure one-on-one instruction and encouragement.  Our students tell us this provides them with a true sense of pride, accomplishment and creative expression.  Each class is structured so a project is completed by the final workshop.

Class participants benefit from a discount on materials purchased at Brooklyn Mercantile, but students are welcome to bring their own materials (see class descriptions for requirements).
